Worcester Prep Sophomores Use Calorimetry To Calculate Calories

Using calorimetry, Worcester Prep sophomores Kathryn O’Malley, Haley Larsen and Hanna Nechay calculate just how many calories there are in a cashew. The research is part of a science project in teacher Jenn Corron’s class. The students learned there are approximately nine calories in a cashew.
