The bridge is back!

Posted by Jack Splat | Wednesday, November 25, 2009
Ok ...good news for once...   You don't realize how much you really  miss something....until its gone  ....
That applies  here  Big Time.

Thanks to the SHA  and our tax dollars..... for getting the Rt 90 bride up and running  ahead of schedule.  Even with a nor-easter  hurricane after effects event  in the middle of the redo!
I am guessing they figured a deadline of Thanksgiving  but played it safe  and said Christmas . Needless to say its nice to have it back. No more wasting gas  going the long way around..  although I will miss having to pass Harris Teeter  each night and pick  up  a fresh dinner!   Got to know Rt 54 business along the Delaware line  also.   Im sure the businesses in OC   near 60th street  are  especially happy   as that closure really  hurt their businesses.

Hope everyone enjoys the Thanksgiving holiday ...  be safe on the roads..!
